I-40 worker killed by tractor trailer

I saw this right after it happened yesterday and my heart raced. The only thng you could seee on the trailer was the back doors. It went that far into the woods. I had the SHP pass me about 2 minutes before I got there. My prayers go out to the family.

I feel for the family, having worked in highway construction Ive seen lots of times where people just dont care and blow through like theres nothing going on. I also think the penalties should be alot more strict. instead of double the speeding fine it should be at least a min of 1000 dollar fine plus mandatory court appearance for speeding in a work zone. Gotta hit em where it hurts.
