We needed a couple of things so Steph left for Walmart.

About an hour later she texted me and told me to cancel my cards. She had laid my wallet on the register and left it. The guy behind her stole it. Cops were called. I went to walmart.

I didn't realize she had taken it with her. I thought she had just taken money out.

They would not let us see the video. Cops said it was Walmart policy. I guess they don't want me recognizing the scum and finding him.

Unfortunately, there was $400 in the wallet. All the money we made last week. Plans for going to VA for thanksgiving are up in the air now.

As are plans to repair the transmission.

I am doing my best to not say much about it. I really want to go out and rip a tree out of the ground with my bare hands and beating someone with it.

Lincolnton or Cherryville? My friend (6'2" 260#) was jumped/sucker punched at Lincolnton store a couple months ago. Luckily there were no weapons involved but little RayQuan figured out real quick he had picked on the wrong big white boy!

PS. Don't use the tree on the wife, mistakes happen.

I left mine on a restaurant table and made it outside before I realized it.
Went back in and it was gone. Cops didn't do a thing. Had over $400 in it.

Left one on the dock at lake wheeler while riding PWCs and when I remembered it I was across the lake a couple of hours later.
Went back and it was still laying right where I left it. Had a couple hondos in it.

Sorry to hear brother. People suck sometimes.

Neighbor dropped his wallet out by the air pump at Eldorado Outpost last weekend. Someone turned it in, got mailed back to him earlier this week. Nothing missing.

People do suck, just not everyone. Thieves suck.

Wishing bad karma on your wallet thief.

Cherryville.

Wife was paying more attention to Heath than the wallet. I can't fault her for that. I have gotten on her more than once for leaving her wallet laying on the register. I guess women don't learn.

I refuse to carry cash anymore. The $20 in the Jeep is the most I have on me at any time.

I have a wife and two daughters ..... what is this cash thing you speak of?

Several years ago our check book got dropped, and picked up, and checks written, by someone the store owner knew, who wasn't me, and wanted me to make it good.
I went to the store, looked at the check, said it wasn't me who wrote it and showed the bank letter where the account was closed 2 days before the check was written.
He threatened to call the cops on me .... I told him to go ahead, when they get here, tell who gave you the check!

Matt btw- punishment for thieves is the ONLY thing Muslims got right.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune, hate this happened, hope you have a speedy recovery!

I'll share a positive story here that I can say I never thought I'd see this in my lifetime given the circumstances.

3 yrs ago I was saying good bye to some friends one evening by the railroad tracks in Evarts, KY. After that Max and I headed back into the park. A short while later I get a call from Greg who told me he lost his wallet and it was last seen on his trailer. I told him I'd go look for it and meet him back at the tracks. I drove around looking for it then waited with max on Greg to arrive. Next thing you know 2 kids in their late teens pull up on quads asking if we knew a Greg Norton! I told him we were friends and asked if he had his wallet. They said they were heading to Evarts to ride and thought they saw a wallet in the road near the prison on hwy 38, turned around and picked it up. They went to the campground behind the dairy hut asking if anyone knew him and ran into Chip Price( @upnover ) who also knew Greg and he held onto the wallet. I told the kids we couldn't thank them enough, how awesome it was that there are still some good people around and if they would hang out for a minute the man himself would show up and I was sure he would give them a bonus to their good deed. I get tickled every time I think of this.

That's blows badly. I found out the hard way with losing my wallet, sometimes the paper money is the least hardest thing to make back. Everything else is phone calls and lame screwarounds.

My wife has left her purse, or wallet, or card at a store more than once. Once she and the kids were traveling, she set her debit card down at the drink machine in a fast food joint to fill the cup, turned around, it was gone.
One other time her credit card was stolen and it was used at a Cinnabon before we realized it was gone.

I finally got some replacement cards in the mail and needed a new wallet.

6 years ago I bought my wallet for $20. Now the same wallet is $50!

Maybe I should go into wallet manufacturing if I can raise prices 150% every few years.

Last wallet I bought was at Kohl's...they had a good selection of wallets, and I only paid like $12 on sale. It is real leather, and has held up good for 3 years now.

My wallet is the one thing I am picky about, anything else I just get something that works. I bought a wallet at Walmart tonight just to have something to keep my stuff in till I find what I want at a price I can afford.

My wife got me one of these last year for Christmas. Im definitely not a hipster when it comes to things, I like simple and durable. It was more than what I would have paid, but I love it. If it ever wears out, I will get another one.

I hate a tri-fold wallet, makes it too fat once you do fold up 3 layers of leather and cash.

He makes bifolds. My wallet sits on my desk or in the console of my truck when I am sitting down.
