Cheap old HF press, it's many years old and has paid for itself many times over. Is it scrap, or can I put it in a big press and straighten it up?

Try the warranty route, but if no go, try the bend it back route. Nothing to lose, right? If it bent once, it will likely bend again. That just means it has been stressed beyond it's elastic deformation limit and has now gone into plastic deformation and will eventually crack and die. But until then, party on!

When my home use hf c clamp bent I bought an otc clamp from the mac tool truck like we use at work for $120. The hf adapters fit it just fine and its stronger in my opinion, it doesn't seem to flex as bad when pressing.

That was for just the c clamp and its screw. It even fits back in the hf case.
