I spend about 7k a year in flights. What’s the best CC out there for businesses that reward airline miles? Could prob manage get about 500k a year in expenditures on it.

I always used a American Express with a visa backup. Always fly delta and averaged 150k miles a year and about the same dollar amount with travel expenses.

Do you spend mostly in certain categories? Or just general spending.

Airline cards are good for if you fly a ton.

My citi doublecash card though overall gives me the best rewards since I spend in a variety of categories but never a ton in a single one.

All the purchases the business makes throughout the year through its venders for raw materials, don’t see categories working too well. We typically abstain from credit, relying on liquidity. But thinking need to get on the reward miles gravy train and get some free tickets.

Fish, I’ve heard so many good things about the Amex rewards but unfortunately may not be able to get as many purchases on it due to it not being accepted by most of our vendors.

This breaks it down nicely with details on how you spend and what you want.

I have the sapphire reserve "double secret exclusive 'Select Executive' " (This is the point where you ooooooh and aaaaaahhhh and self conscious twerps get an ego stroke) card.

I only have it because company pays my annual fee and its damn nice with that caveat....not sure it would be worth the $500/yr otherwise.

I have both AE and Citi double cash back cards I use for travel. I use both of them differently depending on each’s rewards. My father has an AA card that earns some crazy miles with his business and he makes all his purchases there. They make a couple week or two vacation trips out of the US each year that are free.

The only frequent flyer program worth it’s salt for the average person IMO is Southwest. Since I fly them almost exclusively, I have their Rewards CC for my monthly expenditures. I get double points or something like that for booking my flights on it then I just expense the flight. I can cash the points in for all kinds of stuff if I want. They also have a ton of categories where you can earn bonus points back. If you want to use your points for flights, they can go pretty far if you book in advance. I flew the fiancée to Chicago last month for 12k points. That’s about 3 cross country flights worth of points which I’ll clean up on by the middle of April. It’s not the best card for most people but works really well for me.

As for cash back rewards there are any number of better options though. Our company owners switched over to an Amex Business program of some sort in the middle of last year. They are still using up points, cash and whatnot from whatever the old business program we were on with our old BB&T cards.

The wife uses a Barclays AA all the time. Always gets free 1st class upgrades and flew to Africa last year for free.
