I dig the bus, would want to lose the H2 somewhere along the way.
Did anyone see Will Smith's movie trailer? Pulled by a big rig, got 3 axles, 2 stories, spiral stair case, hardwoods, the works. Price tag, $2 million. He's in midtown Manhattan filming MIB3 and the locals in Soho had the audacity to complain that it blocked their view. Their view of what? A bunch of cabs on the street? The 80 story building across the street? What?
Oh, and he's got another 18 wheeler that the trailer is a gym.
I had to work in the Dallas / Grand Paire, Texas area for two weeks in December of last year. We drove by the Marathon Coach plant each moring on the way to work. I think they are the world's largest manufacturer of Prevost Motor Coach conversions. I wish I would've had time to take a tour of that place. It was awesome to see a line of 20+ brand new million dollar coaches in a row each morning.
Definitely more $$ than sense I would have that Hummer on a trailer not flat towed so it can mess up those $400+ tires, put the wear on the drive line & the miles on the odometer.
The Coach is a Newell, they don't build on bus chassis. They build the coach from the ground up and only after it's sold! Newell is the top coach peroid! The craftsmanship is awesome to say the least. The tag axle steers and has a turning radius that is surprising to say the least. All holding tanks are stainless, even fuel.
Same here...what's the point in having money if you don't/can't enjoy it. That's what disposable income is for, right? I realize alot of folks probably have maxed out credit to attain those things, but if not...where's the harm? I'm sure there are alot of folks that see beat to hell trail rigs on trailers that wonder why in the hell anyone would 'waste' money on them.
I'm not suprised, I have a good friend that flat tows his 4 door JK with tons and 42" KM2s (at 675 a tire) behind his RV that looks very similar to that one. No shame in his game, I'd do the same if i had the coin.
I'll post a picture if i can find one
