What has happened to all of the 1989-199? Toyota extended cab v6 2 wheel drive trucks?

I NEVER can find one for sale...
I can't even find a 4cyl version. I always liked those things...

because those who have them keep them... Go buy an XJ already!!!

I have been wanting a 84 Ex. cab, but cant ever find one.. The ex. cabs seem rare.

I got one that I will sell you. 22re, rebuilt auto tranny, A lady backed into the side of the bed, and needs a tailgate. It's a 91 ext. cab interior is ok. It needs a crankshaft. I'll take $500.00 for it FIRM. $200.00 in parts would make a good knock around truck or DD. I got over a grand in the tranny.

There you go andrew.. 500.00 bucks....

btw. the last thing i need is another vehicle in the driveway!

It needs a crankshaft.

Um, that's more than just a $500 investment
"needs a crankshaft" becomes "Needs a rod bearing", which becomes "needs a complete rebuild" which results in "needs a new owner"

The 3.0's didn't make much power at all, really not worth the hassle.

I had a Taco 2wd with the V6 and a 5-speed.. it was a quick little truck..

They are all going to Mexico. When I lived it Houston it was VERY common to see trains of vehicles being towed down there. They cross the border with a LOT of cash on-hand and travel up to the midwest or southeast, purchase a bunch of vehicles and strap/trailer/towbar them together, sometimes three at a time. Two or three guys will travel together and get 7 or 8 vehicles at once. 4x4 Toyotas and Nissans are most popular, but minivans and 2wd pickups of all varieties are popular too. Every time I would drive down US59 going to Corpus Christi I would see them cruising along or stopped at rest stops. Supposedly it is a VERY lucrative business for those guys, since new vehicles are very expensive in Mexico and there just aren't enough used ones to go around. I just hated driving near them, especially when there were three vehicles connected, the rear one would always sway around and they would barely go 50-55mph.

Yep

Mexico wouldn't be a bad guess at all. I see the exact same thing going down 81 all the time (I assume they're going to Mexico, look like mexicans driving).

Seem to like Rangers, School Buses, and Box trucks too.

yeah my grampa and some friends got hooked up with some guys that send the trucks to 3rd world countries like 4or5 years ago the paid TOP dollar for the trucks 2wd and 4wd. I kick him in the ass for not saving me all the toyotas that some drug war lord is riding around in his jungle and cane fields.... Thanks alot guys I got to go kick my grampa now hes a says old fart to. lol
