x2... trail rigs are much more fun when you have something dependable waiting at home.

don't have that kinda money :( i'm 17 with no job

Then you're looking at the wrong fawkin hobby.

Tits or tires, it's gonna cost you alot.

4wd's have big tires... that should tell ya something.

Buy an ATV from pep boys.

Yep!
And with both generally, the size and rubber content is directly proportional to the cost.

as long as your not stupid with it, you can get by with a mostly stock jeep (besides a little bigger tire).

Just dont expect to go to Tellico or something like that and run with everyone else.

funny story, after i had prom on friday night, i got 4 hours of sleep and woke up at 8AM to go look at a 91' 2 door cherokee, lifted 6" on 35"s, and 45 seconds before we met up, his motor started knocking, and we took it to a mechanic and found out he needs a new motor, so it's good i found out before i got the car, but does anyone have a 4.0 motor for sale, cuz i stil want his car HAHA

Swapping in a new motor won't be easy, nor cheap if you cant do the work yourself

X2
And, I hate to be the voice of reason here - but if this will be your only vehicle and DD, you're gonna find that something on 35s is gonna be costly. Cool, maybe, but it'll get impractical fast. For somebody in high school w/ no job, keep in mind that the gas bill alone on that thing will be easily 3x what you pay now, plus insurrance etc. Not to mention increased chances of breaking something, that'll be even more $$...
my personal suggestio nwould be to look in the lightly-modified range, eg.g max 3" lift and 33s and most importantly *geared to match* so the MPGs don't kill you.

yep, it sure is fun as hell to go out and 4wheel your truck. but pretty much every cent that you make is gonna go into it. Oh and dont try any long term relationships either. Its gonna be the jeep or the girl. pretty much sums it up.

thanks for the link, i know about gas and stuff, i've looked alot into that kinda stuff, i don't really have to worry bout gas, cuz i don't really drive that much, and my parents pay for gas :)
