Check your calculator science boy. 1/1024=0.0009765625. I deal with thousandths and ten-thousandths of an inch every day. 1/1024 is just a little smaller than 1/1000 which is 0.001".0.009xx. You're off by a power of 10 . Aren't you an engineer?
