Woo Hoo! Got that w 56 finally installed this weekend. Still dont have a shifter for it but it should be here next week. Just gotta be carefull not to pull on the shifter too much till then. I drove it till the clutch was totally shot. (Not sure I'd make it to work the next day.) Had a buddy help with the heavy stuff and bought him a steak dinner. (After a shower and clothes change. We were both coal black from shoulder to finger tip!) Got the shifter holes cut/patched up and the boots and mount for the boots fabbed up today. Finished about dark so I'll get pics tomarrow. Also had to open up the holes in the cross member a touch. New trans is 1/16 to 1/8 inch longer? Anyway, can't wait to drive it tomarrow! Next weekend is seal up the front axle and new front brakes!
