living in one sucks.....cuz when it gets REALLY cold like tonight....for some reason my heater doesnt want to kick on....any ideas? i thought about gettin the 2.5 sledge out but i dont wanna break it.....cant really get to the furnace either cuz its under the couch....hmmmm my dad will prolly get pissed if i take it apart. any ideas of how to reset the heater? please....anyone....its F*#KIN cold
 
ill have a job.....as soon as i get my community service done this coming week......gotta ride to FLA with my dad on monday to pick up a vw bus then doin the service hours tues wed and thurs......which means i can prolly come down and fill out all the paperwork i need to on fri........i have propane, so the money aspect doesnt mean anything....i just dont understand why the heat aint kickin on....its been workin all day....
 
if i was to spend money on a camper....dont you think i would have a badass truck that DOESNT break down on a minimum of a monthly basis lol
 
its official.....i cant feel my feet, and i can see my breath.....looks like im sleepin under all 4 of my blankets, with my hoodie and my carhartt and my beanie....woohoo.....yall are so lucky to be warm right now lol......
 
Go to wal mart and just buy a $30 electric stand-alone baseboard heater. Works great for a decent sized room. I used several of them in one of my houses a few years back when propane was so expensive (may still be, don't know...).

Hell, Wal-Mart is open all night, you should have gone last night and just stayed, it' d be nice and warm there.
 
Hell even an electric blanket would have helped tons

WOW............... Are you serious? Go back in the house with your dad....... Buy an electric blanket and a drop cord and run it from the neighbors.......... Cancel the internet and save some money. OMFG!! LOL..................... Or freeze your ass off.... BWAHAHAHAHAHA

it was cold as hell but i made it......and im broke...also my truckis broke til i fix it tomorrow.....and i steal internet from my dad.....hahahahaha, gotta love wireless routers.....and when i moved out 3 years ago, they converted my room, so i cant exactly go inside....plus my doberman will go nuts and wake them up if i go in the house in the middle of the night.....i didnt move into his camper til about nov or so......still not exactly what the problem with the heat is....but i got a little electric heater.....doesnt really stay on that long tho...it keeps trippin my power strip when it gets warm......and if i had 30 bux i would just buy enough booze to keep me warm all week HAHA
 
The heat problem is probly a bad solder joint on the board.
 
yea.....thats def not my area of expertise....i dont think it would b a good idea for me to start taking my dads camper apart....lol....he might not like that
 
i tried usin the propane stove to heat the front area where my comp is.....it worked....for a lil.....that sticker that says "CAUTION do not use stove for heat, may cause asphyxiation(sp?)".......yea its def right, it got REAL hard to breathe in here hahaha...so i had to air it out and be cold agian....this lil electric thing im usin tonight is straight...if it would just keep working........since everybody thinks im made of money....how bout we take up donations so i can go get one of these baseboard heater things lol.....i wouldnt be livin in my dads camper if i wasnt BROKE AS :poop::shaking:lol

no.... right now, I'm thinking you must be made of country music.

To summarize:
You are living in a camper outside your parents' house, you got the boot and can't go back in even thoough its 20 degrees outside. Have no heat, truck is broken, no money, and can't get a job b/c you're serving community service.
Only thing missing is the story on your woman. Lets hear it.
 
she, unlike me stayed in community college(where we met in Paint and auto body class), finished that course...has a scholarship for a machining course, is currently also taking welding course's, and is working at a body shop.....which would be the reason we arent really together anymore....no time to do anything.....hmmmm wow man, i think ur right lol.....at the time we last broke up just in my defense, i was working painting construction equipment....and i was either at work, or drinking with my boss....so that took up most of my time lol....and i drove a jeep, which was always broke, so i wasnt able to make the drive to charlotte to go see her...........hows that work into ur summary? hahaha

oh yea...and to add to that, i got gift cards to gander mtn for xmas, was 50 bux short of getting the tactical shotgun i wanted (for "coon" hunting....come on i live in salisbury, theres plenty) and ended up comin out with a military taclight, a new knife and a semi auto pellet rifle, which i bought a police issue laser, and a red dot scope for......wtf is wrong with me lol
 
go to a goodwill.

They have more random electronic crap there than anywhere else (Ive had to work at one for a while now, damn community service). Im SURE they will have a heater somewhere that works...

And in all seriousness, maybe you should try looking at getting back in school, getting a job, and patching up whatever problems you have with your parents, because it doesnt look like making it on your own is much of an option right now. Not trying to be an ass, just an observation.
