I really hate inventory here at work. Even as an auditor it sucks. Most of these guys can't count & the rest can't fawking write. FAWK!!! 8 days of this $hit!

That is all, I feel better now.

You are better off than my dad at times. He was a CPA. His firm did several area ABC boards. They had to do inventory counts for the audits. Can you imagine being locked up for a weekend in a booze store...and can't touch anything???

At Leeboy, they laid off about 100 people over the summer, so we are short handed.

we have about 20 product lines of heavy equipment. Thats a lot of parts.

Why can't guys wear a damn belt? Fawking plumers crack everywhere today.

Jeff I can inventory your whole place in 20 minutes.

3-pavers
1 - Grader
5 oaders
and some parts....done

When can I start?

BTW Cummins inventory includes counting bolts and washers....I think last year I counted something like 2385 3/8 bolts.....all loose stock of course.

You work for Cummins? I was thinking about sending in my info to them for a job next year.

I work for Budweiser and I have to count, stack, and load that shit everyday. It doesn't make me want do drink it. I drink less now than I did before I started working there.....This is kinda strange because I can get cases of dented cans for $5:flipoff2:

yep....look me up when the time comes, but a word of caution it is a tough market right now

Any SAP, JD Edwards or ERP program that you use? Are any daily/weekly items checked? I implemented items or areas to inventory daily. Just the mindset change improved inventory immensely.

We use an MRP system, but the info is only as good as whats put in. Our biggest issues is the BOM'S are never correct.

I am still hating this $h!t!!!!

Variance reports really bring on the suck. ARG!

Happy day was leaving my last job.
Supported the systems for a warehouse/distribution center.
Nothing is worse than when they'd realize they had an idiot, fired him, then everyone else had to hand count EVERYTHING he touched.
:fuck-you:

Nothing to inventory at new job.

i worked a big telecomm place the last few years (just got laid off) and we had to inventory just our department....and it REALLY sucked. Last friday of EVERY month even. The first few times i had to do my section alone, i was team leader, but after it take every section over 6 hours to get HALF WAY DONE, they started pulling more people to help. We got it down to just a few hours total....but then they started to let us weigh-count stuff and they really helped. in the end, wiht like 7 teams, we coudl inventory the whole area in 2-3 hours and be within 10% each time (that's acceptable when you have to count 15,000 3mm piece of heat shrink and stuff)
