I love Bowman Gray Stadium

phew that's pretty aggressive..........It looked like he was threatening to put that guy into the wall

It was double points night which means triple the pushing. I missed it, hopefully going this weekend. Just two 25 lappers but should have some entertaining revenge rubbing.

I think there was a threat of great bodily injury which makes it self-defense, right?

I used to race there in the late 80's. There was a one eyed guy that ran number 3 like Urnhardt... On the back of the car it had < "A" side Passing instructions Suicide >

I think there's little awareness of how traumatic brain injuries occur, and that was a prime example. That guy is lucky to be walking away.

1 - Parks a car going in the wrong direction on a race track with cars driving towards him.
2 - Gets out of car and walks towards moving cars.
3 - Jumps on the side of a moving car.

Sounds to me there may have been some previous brain damage already.

I believe he was spun which is why his car was facing the wrong direction and all of his actions afterwards.

I have cut across the football field in the middle of the track to catch a person that needed some help finding the wall.

Too many douchebags for me,whatever happened to the show about the Millers bros and the other racers at BG???

I work with Tim brown's crew chief, the way I understood it was history didn't buy the second season and the 'versus' channel was going to take it, but nothing has happened. I think he said more episodes were made but no one bought them to use.

BG is a joke. Can't pass unless you wreck the person in front of you (except if they are just REALLY slow), the only excitement is the wrecks, but that isn't worth going for to sit for 3 hours IMO. They would be better off to just drop the flag and say first to 20 laps wins, kind of like ECORS. No yellow flags :)

The guy that got drug lives a couple miles from me, shows how bright some of these guys really are... His supporters call Derek Stoltz the wimp (for wrecking him and not stopping), DS's supporters call Mike the moron for doing what he did. At BG stadium, if you ain't cheating and driving dirty, you ain't winning...

(BTW, I think Mike was a moron to grab ahold of the car like that, he's lucky he didn't get hurt very bad, can't blame Derek for driving off either)

Yep... BG is a tuff track to race. Setting up for a pass takes the right touch of getting them loose without killing them or them turning back into you. Its a very historic track, but not the easiest to run.

You know, something I thought of as I read your post; Driver was probably just staring at the damn fool in his window in astonishment, after he grabbed hold. And for a split second there, didn't realize he was headed for the wall. That, or he really is an evil bastard.

I some comments on their FB pages, Derek claimed he did not see him, which I think is a lie. Watching the video you can tell he was trying to get around the car in front of him. Maybe he didn't know he was holding on, but he had to of seen him running towards the car, otherwise it would not make sense to speed off.

I thought about that but watching them during the caution laps they all swerve and gas it to keep the tires warm, not quite that much but pretty much that same.

remember too he's wearing a helmet plus there's a cage and whatnot inside the car - visibility over to the side like that won't be great.
