Its about 2." Thats kinda the idea i am going with. I will create a ledge for the tv to rest on the frame (not the back metal I want that to hang freely). It will have support all the way around the edges (I will start with 4 corners first to see how sturdy that is). But your right on the money with that idea though ratlab.
