With my post Covid issues, one of the problems is constant Covid fog.
Some days the ol brain just don't work right.
I finally had to change and/or write down most passwords .... including the one for this desktop.
This desktop came from a friend who has an IT biz and he done a few bulk orders .... this platform is his goto for schools, businesses, etc.
I was having computer issues and asked him a question ..... when I told what the other computer was he just laughed and said it was to old.
Gave me this one .... loaded and ready to go.
This morning my 'puter crashed on start-up ( yay windows ). It was because I was ignoring pending updates.
So it forced the updates and then I could not get the password to go.
After trying multiple workarounds and entering the password a couple thousand times ( and 3-400 different passwords ) I decided to beat my way in through command prompt.
Same thing. IT WOULD NOT TAKE THE PASSWORD!!!!!
Again, different passwords, etc etc etc ....
Out of desperation I started using variations of the password I was pretty sure was the correct one .......
The IT guy had spelled the password wrong.
It's been like that since Feb 2021 and I just noticed it.
