hahaha I seen those too. I don't have a lot of land to keep them or I would. That's the reason I'm thinking pygmies.
 
I've had them for about 15 years now. Their meat has become so demanding it's hard to keep them anymore. I've sold them upward to $200.
 
WOW... I honestly don't think Ive ever eaten any goat..... Is that 200 for an adult or a kid?

Duh.... I guess lamb and goat would be pretty close. I was thinking more as pets but now y'all got me headed in another direction LOL.... the wife might not be on board with this now...
 
Hate I turned the subject in the wrong direction but that's for 5-7 y.o. registered nannies for breeding purposes. For the meat, females ages 5-7 are more expensive for they're not as chewey as bucks / weathers. Good stuff! Chivos Se Vendor....
I do have a Buck named Carl that I'll never part with. Previous owner basically taught him to be mean as hell. I can pet him since I feed him but he's the best guard goat I've ever seen. He don't ram you, he walks right up and hooks backwards into your shin or calf muscle. The previous owner taught him well.

seriously though..there used to be some Tennessee fainting goats near a friends house, we used to stop the car and get out and run towards them screaming and hollering. over half of them would collapse about every time. We'd die laughing every time.

I don't have a pen ready right now, but if you still have him in a week or two I may be able to take him off your hands... any pics you can send me to help persuade the wife? I don't think she's fully on board yet LOL
