Truck owners future conversation about the log: "Yup Earl, I dragged that bad boy home using only my 1/2 ton truck and a car hauler. I saved negative $6580 on my heating bill burning that log, if you factor in fixing my truck and trailer."

HOLY CRAP!!!
...I don't feel so bad now...
And I was worried about this load:

But it atleast had about 1/2 inch to the bumpstops  But atleast after it was fixed the big truck hauled the Avvy home.

Obviously he just needs one more like it behind the trailer axles.

I'm pretty sure that's Ricky's Z71.

I towed my full size bronco on a 16' steel deck....with my 2.7 Tacoma

I towed a friends full size bronco on a 16' trailer w/ a '77 1/2 ton ford truck and flipped it in the middle of I-40. Over weight hauling is never a smart thing. But I still do it all the time.

I saw this jewel when this evening when I was taking the dog for a walk.:shaking:

Agreed! Coming back from the coast last week, the LEOs had an S10 (std. cab full of refugees) pulled over that was hauling a @#$% HUGE boat (triple axled trailer). As we approached, it appeared the LEO was escorting them OFF the highway... :shaking:

Good....makes more room for me to do burn outs in the dodge...lol

When I bought my '51 Ford the guy said he'd pull his drivetrain and deliver it to me the next day. Showed up about 5:30 towing my 51 pickup on a single axle trailer behind a Grand Marquis.

Can't say too much though, I have towed my 78 F-150 with my Durango on several occasions.

I've actually seen that before, friend of mine had a Dodge D50 pick up that he'd stuffed a 318 into.

He was pulling a 20' car trailer with a convertable 66 Chrysler 300, engine to the rear of trailer for better weight dist, and trailer brakes.

he said it pulled well, but stopping quickly was kinda scary......

Go figure
