I want this volvo

Alright thats pretty cool, but why would you put that much money into a volvo unless you really just wanted to be a bastard, or you were bored and had too many kids lol.

Imagine driving that around Lol, droppin the kids off at school, burning out, grabbin third on the way up the road lol.

thats sick as shit. nothin like a sleeper 4dr wagon. a guy on another forum im on is building a 740 hatchback with an ls1, not exactly as badass as a turboed one but still cool none the less.

website says 550hp at 10 lbs, but it also claims 28 mpg...
 
Yeah, that cars been around a few years. It's cool, but not something I would put that motor in.

28 mph with a turbo ls1? Seems pretty out of the realm... Suppose its possible, my brother gets 23ish babying his sc mustang
 
No, not with the 6-spd gearing. I have a friend with 525rwhp in a SS Camaro and a 6-spd. We drove down to Atlanta when my TA was still an automatic. I was bone stock at 300rwhp with my auto and 3.23 gears pulling 23mpg, he was built and running 3.73 gears and he got 32mph. He got better gas mileage than our other friend driving a V6 Accord with us. :lol:
 
I've heard of that sort of thing being a common upgrade to volvos. Not THAT extreme, but pre-OBD-II bricks make great conversions to sleepers. Plus they ride nice and are rwd.

I'd use one as a DD (w/ a mild V8)

I'm thinking a near-stock LS2 would do the trick for me-

believe it or not I had an idea for an LSx drivetrain swap into a volvo... then went to the internet and it had already been done.

-same for the civic with LSx motor

- same for civic with the F20 s2000 drivetrain swap



aaaahhh shit I'll never have an original idea.
