I want to flip my trailer over, or on its side... whats the best way to go about it?

I'd like to put my trailer on its side or flip it over all the way to complete my new wiring job and wire brush off some surface rust and paint the underside for good measure.

I don't know how much the trailer weighs. My Bobcat's rated operating capacity is 1300lbs, tipping at 2600lbs. I'm thinking its gonna be my best bet.

I don't want to do any damage to the trailer by doing this, but it sure would make my life a lot easier if I could be able to work on it standing up instead of on my back under it.

Any ideas?

Winch, snatch block, heavy duty strap, tree saver, big ass tree branch and a good insurance policy. Put all of that together and the idea should become pretty apparent.

Or you could use the bobcat and make it less of a spectacle.

I just went through this same thing with a home built that I am revamping. It had axles solid welded to the frame so we had to flip mine to install the spring mounts and stregthne the frame. The first flip was just done with a truck and winch. No problems there but after installing my mounts and axles,I was then concerned about the stress of turning the trailer over while pivoting on the ends of the axles.I removed the axles and used 2 trucks to pull it over more controlled and eased it down on tires.Jacked it back up level and re-installed the springs and axles.I have no fenders but iirc, you have so if it was me,and this is just my opinion, I would remove the tires on one side and slowly roll her to where the fenders are almost touching the ground.Truss it up for safety and have at it.

Did mine with a winch and snatch block. Proper chocking/tie offs, go slow and be watchful, worked fine for me. User results may differ :)
