Try to buy parts for that steering assist cylinder with the built in valve. We use one like that on one of our machines. big $$$

So your sayin I should keep it??? :smokin: I tore it down today and it has some pretty funky lookin parts on it.Ill post some pics in a few.

if you can find somebody that that will work in their specific application, you can get a few hundred for it used.

I feel so special :D Hell, i don't know. He might! I'm up in yankee land at the moment and when we leave Massachusetts early Friday morning, I'm going to stop on the way home and see him in Pennsylvania. I'll let him take a peak at it.

That kinda reminds me of an old closed knuckle Dana from a Power Wagon or something like that. Especially with 5.89s and a power loc. What the hell did it come out of?

Maybe this will help. In my looking and i don't know axle lingo so I could be way off but it looks like the pics of the ford large kingpin. Supposedly rare, parts too somewhat. Aside from what we all already know from looking; bad ass and big.

A friend of mine owns two trenchers and both have dana axle centers super beefy outers rigid mounted in the frame for the rear axles. Both are nearly direct coupled to the transmisions and hydro steered. But a tug sounds closer to the answer given the OD green paint.

Also notice the safety wire on the carrier bolts. That makes me lean towards a military piece too.

That why I thought it was military too.
The better question is what you going to do with it?
Dont know,I thought I would us the powr lok in my wifes YJ but its 19 spline and I need 30 spline.Im sure those are some expensive parts if you can find the right market/buyer and I bought it by the pound so I'll put it back and wait I guess.

Heres some pics of the teardown.

I'd check with a heavy equipment repair place for direct sale. Those hubs that are on there are supposed to be good beefier and made by the original company rather than mile marker. Might have a broader market for those.
