Ideas for TJ fender trimming

Out of staters that come to Tellico are often left in complete and utter shock at what we can get away with as street legal in NC... It really depends on the local area. How strict are the cops? How strict are the inspection stations? It's always best to try to stay as close to the regulations as possible, but this seems to be an issue that the state as a whole is pretty lax about.
