im in the market to get a new phone im with sprint i have the moto q 9c like what the phone does just not the quality. so my question is how does the black berry hold up.. im looking hard at the htc hero but dont know if i wanna go full touch screen yet or not.. let me know what u think

unbreakable has had a few HTCs......They seem to be junk shit

I've had my Blackberry Tour for almost 4 months and I work in a wet environment 6 days a week and I've dropped it in grease and had it covered with grease and wipe it off and go about my day.

Not sure if Sprint offers them, but the Casio Gz'One is a *tough* SOB!

I bought mine on the recommendations of infantryYJ (shot video with his from 5' deep in the pool) & mbalbritton... I think Zubz & catfishblues also have them.

I've dropped mine so many times, got it wet, (dropped it in the dish water), & generally abuse it... I'm amazed it still works.

Gz'One FTW on Toughness. 3 coworkers were standing around talking about the new apps on their iPhones, and geek shit like that. I took mine and threw it across the room at them to hit the hardwood floor at their feet. They stopped, looked at their phones and all said, "ya, we can't do that" then one of them kicked it back to me. still works just fine. TOUGH SOB of a phone!

Black Berrys are supposed to be one of the most durable out there. Also supposed to have good customer service and stuff like that...

Yea, I definitely wouldn't trust my GZ'One to do that. Thank goodness for insurance, its been smashed 3x. Its tough, but it's no Nextel brick. Although it does hold up pretty good to moisture. If you wind up getting a Black Berry, look into getting an Otter Box case. They are practically indestructible, but are pretty expensive.

I don't like my G zone.....I had to software reinstalled 2 times on my old one. Then I broke the phone. My new one is about 4 months old and it randomly cuts off and the charger socket is going bad. I think I'm going to get a droid or new curve pretty soon. Too bad verizon doesn't use the Iphone.

:shaking:Mine freezes ALL the time. I don't know how many times I've been late because I look down at my phone and it says 2:34 (for example) and its actually 3:45. Open and shut the phone and it corrects itself SOMETIMES, sometimes I have to pull the battery and reboot it. And the whole time it is frozen like that, It is unable to receive calls, and messages/vmail do not pop up.

droids are on about the same level as the iphones, i know people that have them and love them. me personally, i will never get another full touchscreen again. there cool for the first few months then they get real old. but the droid has the keyboard so...
