Ok I have run into a problem and need a few ideas.

I have brought a car in Monroe NC . I have sold a car to a dude in High Point NC...you know kinda "on the way". The car I brought in Monroe is a project with the engine and tranny out and disassembled.

My problem is I have a trailer and Jeep Grand Cherokee but I will not have room for all the "stuff". I can not put it in the car(no floor pans)

I looked into renting a Uhaul type box truck but I would have to rent 3 days for a one day trip, beacuse of the weekend. Also because of the car trailer they will not rent anything smaller than a 10' box truck.

Any ideas on were to get a cheaper van or 1/2 ton pick up ??

Post here in the towing section. Probaly get it cheaper than any other method.

I am confused by your post. You need a car (not running and in pieces) moved from Monroe to Washington? You talked about another vehicle but not sure if you 2 moved or just one. What make and model is the vehicle(s) that needs moved? Will the vehicle(s) roll with little effort? Depending on the vehicle and the timeline I might be able to move it for you. It isa 500 mile round trip for me so gas would not be cheap but cheaper than renting a truck and trailer. Post up the specifics of what exactly you need.

On a side note you could rent a 15 passenger van from enterprise or maybe a truck. Thy say you are not allowed to tow with them but they (the 2 or 3 I have rented) will add something the the rental agreement saying you are allowed to tow. Good Luck

Penske. I bought a car up in Long Island, borrowed a trailer and rented a Penske for an in-town rental. Picked it up at 5:30 Friday night, dropped it back off at 3am Sat night/Sunday morning. I had put like 1500 miles on it for an in-town rental.

Only cost me like $200, maybe less.
