I bought a TH400 a while back and the guy I bought it from couldnt quite remember what it came out of. I believe he said he thought it came from a chevy work van. Ive tried to search online to find out what this transmission came out of but just cant seem to nail it down. Im in need of a converter and flex plate for the transmission and of course the guys at autozone need to know what year and make/model the tranny is from. The ID tag on the transmission has the following info on it:
CQ 80Q 445
Serial #: 80-CQ 34677
Stamped # TA7505188
From what I have gathered, the 80 is the year model of the transmission, and the 445 is the julian date of the transmission, but I have no idea what the Q is for. On a camaro site, I believe the letter in place of the Q indicated the motor the transmission was mated up to or something of that nature. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
