I drove a truck for 10 years, this has been coming since nafta was signed, and has been stalled since then. The only suprise is that it has taken this long. There is always talk of "trucking strikes". I heard all that bs when they changed log rules, raised fuel over 1.50, then 2, then 3$, it will never happen.

IIRC, Mexican isn't a race but instead a nationality.

They had that strike over in Britain where all the truckers drove into town and blocked all the streats until they got what they wanted. That was a few years back though. I have no idea what they were striking for or what was accomplished but it made a mess of everything. I think a truckers strike would bring this nation to a screaming halt. If it was done properly. I don't see this happening but I passed it on to my dad.
