TonkaToy and I took a day trip after class (summer school @ ncsu) a couple fridays ago, and I just got the pictures up.
Hit the easy trails first, around RML and over to sawmill and down dutch john.

of course we didn't get to daniel untill it started to get dark... The pickup went first and went up without too much trouble. At one point he slid into a diagonal with the walls, picture the golf cart in Austin Powers

I had to get pulled once. I climbed the ledge pretty easily and got hung up at the top. A simple tug and I was ready to go.

Tonkatoy lost his brakes halfway up daniel do to a pre-existing low fluid condition (way to prep, I know) So we siphoned brake fluid from my runnner w/ a mcdonalds straw. He also broke a couple exhaust hangers which were fixed with bungee cords (and are still there as far as I know)

All in all it was a fun day trip. We completed every trail without anything major breaking. We didn't see a single rig the whole day and only 2 ATV's. I guess friday afternoon is the time to go.

I forgot that website won't let me hyperlink, I'll transfer them over to another and repost
