Thank you to all the suggestions, and to all that answered the onslaught of questions I threw out the last few months as I searched for the new Family Ride! I took all the info with me to every meeting and every test drive and it helped SOOOO many times and I feel I used this info to get a pretty good deal. So, here is the new daily driver: 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4
It's got 151k on it and the only major issue is a glitch in the AC, and after researching the codes I pulled from it, I think it's a pretty simple fix of blend doors.. which I will be learning to do myself. It is a salvage title, but I checked out the history and it seems to be minor passenger doors/hood damage (I'm thinking a parallel parked side swipe?) and the body work checked out for the repairs. I don't plan on selling or trading it in, so the title is no issue anyways.. Thanks again to everyone that helped out with suggestions and answers!
