And when you've mastered those easy questions, we'll bring on the REAL test if you want.

Calm down, calm down, we dont want to scare them off too soon!!

I remember testing one guy, and he must be the best searcher on here...he answered every question...to the ''T''. I was surprised he did it, but he did and was a good sport the entire time.

So to the prospects, dont give up, dont get mad, answer the questions and you should be ok.

I have a question...it involves the NC4X4 community and what can be accomplished when we all work together.

Please explain the 4x4cross Bronco.

What is it?
Why was it built?
who built it?
how did folks get involved/name a few different ways folks ''sponsored it''
Who won it?
what did it take to get a chance to win it?

Do a small write up on this topic and I'll consider sponsoring ya, if the write up is worthy.
Plus maybe a quick phone chat w/ me ,for a few pointers.

Do that and you are in and sponsored by me.

p.s. to everyone else...I was just looking at some old photos of the Bronco, thats why this is my test and why it is on my mind.

^^^That sounds like the man of the year talking^^^

Location- Out in the sticks of Gold Hill

What kind of rig do you have? Stock 1998 Dodge 2500 V8 4x4 tow pig, 1995 Ford 150 4x4 custom bumpers front and rear-for sale. Projects 65 chevy C-10 goin on 79 K10 frame, 2 1950's M38A1s(might be for sale too) Then you will most likely see me drivin pop in his stock 92 yota with 235K. And a 76 K10 Bonanza, then the 74 F100 1 ton dump truck haulin wood. Had a fight with a deer and total lossed my Honda Accord

How long have you been into wheeling? Been riding atvs for about 4 years, never wheeled on the trails in the trucks, although I am looking forward to it. Had some private mud holes with permission, but I quit playin in the mud because I got tired of fixing things

who is the head honcho of this site? Moderators :) Jeff and Bruiser come to mind then blkvoodoo, upnover, jph, and caver dave. Maybe I am wrong, like I said most of my time goes to other hobbys and forums- Still on the search Rich seems to have the most posts

Name two legal wheeling places in NC BESIDES Uwharrie.- Well there was Tellico, but... Then Ill put Fort Fisher, and OBX cause I spend a bunch of time down there. And always pullin people out at OBX and Carolina.

Who was the first NC4X4 man of the year? Chip- upnover

snicker snicker

LOL I am stuck on the pavement right now, besides goin out haulin some logs and firewood. I give up on the mud for now cause Id rather build a hotrod of a motor than play. My truck and my buddies ol 6.5 spent the night in a duck pond :) then we had a newer stroke on 37s stuck, then got a backhoe and busted the tire on it trying to make it down to the pond just to get our 2 out. So the luck had seemed to run out. Also have left our John Deere over in the woods buried up to the belly. So mud is not my friend for now anyways.

And definately not takin my truck into Uwharrie unless somebody really needed me. But it is a good time to get out and meet up with some people. Ill prolly just stick to riding the quads up there since thats all I have

Haha, thats Dads ol Deere. I am partial to the red ones anyway. With all the work that went into getting it out, I think it would have been easier to leave it. Also had the Massey Ferguson stuck, then a newer JD 4x4 with a loader. I am thinking ours weighs close to 6000# with the tires loaded and the weights on the front. We borrowed some blocks from a guy and they were off a wrecker and I am pretty sure they were 100Ton capacity when I was draggin them through the mud. Anyways we drug it out the next mornin.

OH YEA, SORRY FOR THE HIJACK! Do I need to start my own thread?

Very distracted by all the threads to read. lol.

Caver Dave? Shows he was the first to join the site. But Idk if you are running a forum if you have to join or not. I can tell you the domain name, address, and the servers address. lol.

Darn this 350 SBC, it is over taking my brain and my searches.

Ahahahahaha that's funny (if you knew Caver).

Buuut - that is kind of curious.
That's probbaly b/c he is an admin, several years ago tehre was a board "renewal" lets say and everybody had to re-join. He was prob one of the ones setting it (back) up. That's just my guess.
