I usually am out in the field but on occasion I get rained out or just have to spend the day in the office getting caught up and I never seem to accomplish my goals. I'm still trying to close out 2015 for my business and that was my main goal but I really still haven't made any progress with all of the "other'' things I've done all day. I did have to run meet a client and drop by the office supply store but I'm just now starting to pull files and get it underway.
Anybody else have this issue?:D

Im trying to spend time at the homeoffice because my back hurts and I need to catch up on paperwork. Im making phone calls to collect to money owed. Making progress but slow oops checking NC4x4 while the laptop is on Back to making lists and organizing maybe Ill take a break and go to the shop.

Same here.

Seriously considering hiring an assistant. Pretty sure I could work in the field and call and dictate between stops and get more done than sitting here for days

As long as you get a great assistant, yes.
If they aren't great - you'll find that you lose more time than you gain.

I have an office manager. Once she got all of my mess straightened out it became a part time job. She is great and doesn't get distracted and bored like I do at the desk. There is stuff I got to do like pricing, scheduling, and banking. She is amazing at ordering materials and keeping the paper moving. It has made my business a lot more profitable and I have more time to do what I do best. I can trust her with a company credit card and just to make sure she doesn't get away my son is going to marry her.
