Well guys I want to do more stuff to my jeep. It currently has what I was told was 4 1/2 rustys kit which I don't think is true. Other that that it's stock. I eventually want it to be able to drive to ure wheel whatever I throw at it and drive back. But for now I just want it to be capable where me my dad and brother can all go wheel.

Here's my order add in what y'all think will be better

Motor either new or low mile junk yard one. My current one has 155k and at idle has 15-18 psi oil

Then I am thinking roll cage harnesses and seats. Saftey first

Get me some 2in spacers till I can afford the long arm lift from rustys

Trim the fenders where I can stuff the 33s on my current lift

Then find some 8.8 axles

Rustys 8in long arm setup

When should I do SYE?

When should I do bumpers, skid plates, and other armor??

Here's a pic of my jeep

that looks pretty nice...get some rocker protection/sliders on there ASAP.
Are those 31"s? It could be a 4.5" lift. If its a Rusty's 4.5, I think it should have RUSTYS 450 or 400 in white paint in somewhere mid-height on the coils. My Rustys 3" lift coil said 300, and 31s were tighter than your pic.

They are 32s I have a extra coil with a part num on it. I will look at it tonight and see what it pulls up

Should I save up for the SYE or do the tcase drop kit rustys has for 30 bucks? The drop kit I could get today I just can't afford the SYE yet

You don't need anymore lift on that rig. Taller just makes more likely to roll. Here is what I would do if it was my rig:

- Trim fenders for tire clearance
- Add sliders
- Sway bar disconnects for front
- If D35 rear, then swap in a 8.8, C8.25, or D44 with locker
- Lock Right in the front
- SYE
- Add front bumper with winch

If the motor doesn't use too much oil, and isn't overly noisy, then I wouldn't waste money swapping it or rebuilding it, just continue to run it.

But I am prob goin to get 2in blocks and spacers for the from to give me some more. Will I need it then?

be prepared for axle wrap to spit them out, been there done that. You're better off adding a leaf, or maybe a longer shackle.
danny nailed it, ride your XJ like he described, that should be good enough for you to really feel it out. After that, its a whole level of expensive mods.

Ok so do a shackle in the rear to make it level, then do the rest he said and have fun with it after that till I have the money for all the expensive stuff.

Depending on which mall you want to crawl, you may want a cage first...

I was about to post about that. Number 1 to me is safety to me and my passengers. Like he said he didn't know that was coming but it did and he was prepared. So I will look into that first.

So that means which is better exo or inside cage. I noticed all his stuff was tied into the bumpers and stuff what's best for me???

i didnt think c- rock made those anymore.

i'd find a local shop to do the cage.
are you planningon an exo or an internal cage?
the internal cage is way stronger but after one roll the jeep will be pretty beat up.

in the order i'd do it.
rocker guards
lock right in the front,
replace rear axle/locker, if it is the dana 35. (if you have abs it will be the d35)
front bumper with winch.
then cage
