Indoor Go Kart Racing

I went to Grand Prix a few years ago for my birthday and had a blast, but It seems that I heard they have closed....if so, are there any other go kart racing tracks around the triad? (not celebration station)
 
Mooresville has one they built in an old factory. There is currently a large outside go kart track being built in mooresville as well.

I've been here and the gran prix in Greensboro, they are similar. Victory lane had an even faster stretch thru the middle I think. Both were awesome, I hate that gran prix closed up.
 
Rush Hour Karting in Clayton, NC (near Raleigh) is very fun. Very fast carts and they are getting new ones on the track this month that are a little quicker. All computerized lap timers and etc.

I have been wanting/trying to get a group of folks from nc4x4 to go to The Pit in Mooresville.

Indoors and fast. I have been twice and have been itching to go back ever since.

Would you be willing to drive to mooresville? Or we can meet in Mocksville and i'll load us up in the van. I just wanna go racing.

Somebody set a date...or something.

heck...I might just start up another thread and see if I can generate enough interest for a good sized group. We can all do a FULL race scenario..with practice laps then qualifying,then a main race.
 
That place is a ton of fun. A little pricey but fun time non the lless.

Ive started another thread based off of this one. I am trying to get folks together to race and have some fun.
