I have 300 or 400 baseball cards from when I collected them as a kid. Last I checked a few years ago, some cards were worth $.05 all the way up to $20 ea. What is the best way to go about selling the whole lot of them? Should I get a new price guide and go through each card, and start from there?

I also have around 200 'Magic the Gathering' cards from when I was kid. Looking to sell all of these together too, and know they arent worth more than 20 bucks for all of them.

Does anyone know of a good, reputable place in Winston-Salem area to sell the 'Magic the Gathering' and baseball cards?

Thanks

I went through this same dilemma a long time ago. I had a collection of a little over 5,000 dating from the 50's on up with most being commons but had a bunch of good cards from $1 up $500. I had enjoyed collecting them but it came time to get rid of them. I asked around and did not find much interest. I ended up donating them to the local boys home in hopes that others would be able to enjoy them the way I had.
Oh, and the tax write-off was pretty hefty....

I have 3 kids here that would love to learn how to play Magic. I used to play years ago but sold all of my cards when I quit playing. I will take them off your hands if you are willing to ship them to me, I'll pay for them and shipping.

Some folks on eBay or particular website forums would probably jump on card collections like this. I mainly only collect 1970 and older now, but I have seen a lot of folks looking to add to newer collections/complete their sets.
