So took my truck to the dealership and found out after replacing the vacuum pump that my injection pump was also bad. And as we all know they wanted way to much to put a new pump in.

So my question is how hard is it to put one in and what all is involved in installing an injection pump in a 6.5L turbo diesel?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

idk, but I do know they are PITA to bleed out.. (and thats big green tractor experience) oh and injector pumps be expensive (500+ for boneyard John Deere.. 900+ rebuilt)

Thanks for that info. anyone else got any input?

their easy to install if you know a few tricks. i can do one in half day. cut a slot in a 19mm box wrench for the lines, label all lines so they stay in order and dont kink them. you will need access to a scantool to set the timing when done. if you need someone to do it pm.me.
