Well, it all started when my dad was looking at my alternator belt alignment and said...Brent...your belt is not even close to being square. After looking a little closer the bracket appeared to be home made and was shimmed with multiple nuts and washers. I then started looking into getting a bracket and there really did not seem to be any great options. There were mixed reviews on Bulltear but I ended up talking to a human and ordered that day. My bracket was at the house in 3 days.

Installation was relatively painless, the hardest part was getting the old mount off. I am definitely a noob but I am putting this info out there because there doesn't seem to be much out there on this bracket.:alien:

Nice looking bracket, & I like the adjuster. Nice to mount on top, out of the mud, & water. Mine came mounted on the bottom, & never had a bracket problem. Top position is used for my York air Compressor.

thanks for the reply, I did not know that it would essentially flip the alternator but at least everything is aligned now.

Cold and raining right now. try to get some later on when the weather is better. Its a nice kit. All new pulleys for water pump, crank, power steering, and alternator. And of course all the neccessary brackets. There might be some pics on bull tears site.
