Installing an Axle Shaft...

Can anyone tell me what tool are needed to change the differential side axle shaft on a 93 cherokee?
Dana 30 HP, non abs, no vacuum disconnect.

Im changing the inner and outter shafts.

Please help

should only be common hand tools and some snapring plyers.

You'll need a 12 point 13mm socket and a 36mm socket to replace the shaft.

I shouldnt have to press the pilot bearing in should i?

nope, the bearings are sealed in the unitized hub. The hub (held on by the 3x 12pt 13mm head bolts) might be pretty stuck in the knuckle though. I loosen these 3 bolts 1/4" or so, then hammer them with the socket on , just to get the hub moving out. Then back the bolts out more. Once the hub starts moving, you should be home free.
FYI, the axle seals are in the housing, gotta pull the carrier to change them.

Need help!! So changing diff fluid i realized that my spider gears were broke. Picked some up and have no clue how to do it...
I know there a roll pin in it, but do you have to pull the entire carry to remove the gears? And if so how do i reset the pinion? And the roll pin? And i need the torque specs on everything...
