Insuring a rollback for personal use????

This is what I’m worried about, there’s a possibility I may actually throw some money at the rig and make a crawler hauler for a camper and the rig. So interstate travel is a possibility.
Don't worry about it I have had farm tags on all my trucks since I turned 16.

Farm Bureau put my 93 Dodge truck with a flat bed on a commercial policy for me. I called to add it to my regular auto policy and when they saw it had a flat bed they made separate commercial policy.

I have farm bureau and my last two trucks have been a flatbed. You need a better agent.

For me it's cheaper to put everything on commercial policy and it's the only way they will let you insure more than 8 dump trucks anyway.

It was cheaper leaving it with my standard policy because of the multi vehicle discount.

No I don't, she's a great agent. And comparing the price and coverage to my 89 it looks like much better coverage for not much more money.

So she made you pay more and made you have to have a a commercial policy all because your truck had a flatbed on it?

I stand corrected she sounds like ab awesome agent.

She provided a superior product for a marginal increase in cost. I could have adjusted to reduce the cost but I didn't feel the need to. Thanks for your concern though!

I don't remember exactly what they call it, but my F650 rollback has commercial not for hire insurance. They wouldn't put a standard auto policy on it. It didn't change the cost though. I'm paying something like $450 a year for it.

I wouldn't recommend running a farm tag on a rollback unless you're actually using it for farm work, especially if you'll be going out of state with it.
