most likely going to be 38s but might have to settle for another set of 36s.

do interco tires do the job if you have good brakes? I know not locking them up is KEY but for the tire itself. any insight?

i like the tsls a lot. i kind of want something different though.....maybe some boggers and back to some black wheels.

back to black wheels for sure but debating on the tire.

its going to be something interco so i was hoping someone has some input.

thanks.

They suck. the only thing that suck worse are boggers. BTDT.

Is looking "cool" so much more important than being able to get around? Try BFG AT's or Truxus MT's.. Siping helps alot.

I had Bfg's on an stock XJ living in South Dakota they are excellent in the snow & we got alot of snow

chuck...hah yea...mybad.

rich.....its what i think looks good. if other people think it looks cool or whatever then power to them. and why you just gonna off the bat throw some shit about me trying to look cool? just wanna get some info.

yea BFG's are good. i'll look into those.

Sipes, sipes, kerfs, kerfs, = good snow/ice tire.

The large lugs on the Boggers / TSL's might cut through some fresh stuff, but I imagine they would clog up quickly.

I bought my BFG-MT's based on the fact that multiple reviews said they were one of the best tires for snow.

Havent tried em out yet, but I think this winter might be a bad one up here, so hopefully they will work out well.

If you want to go, get the BFG AT's if you want to slip and slide go with boggers.
Seriously, bogger suck in snow. TSL's are not much better. Also, with no more snow that we get, as a tire for a DD you won't get them to last a season if you drive much at all.

I hear a lot of people talk about bfg AT's for snow, but My experience with them in the snow was that I couldn't get my cj5 out of the parking lot in 4wd on those POS's. Damn near played pinball with every vehicle in the parking lot. they loaded up with snow and looked like frosted doughnuts with in 20 yards. Now mind you these were 35x12.50's. the next year I had Wild Country RVTs Mud terrains and that was much better!!!!

I can confirm that Brent's Jeep used to move under it's own power... just not in the past 3-4 years mind you!

I can also confirm he was open at both ends, was running 63# in each tire, and can't drive for :poop: ...

"on road" snow/ice.... the bfg at's are almost magical... esp. on a 4x4 cummins...
and the interco truxus MT's are awesome too, the siping is where its at

TSL's suck balls... the bigger the tsl i ran the worse it was in the snow cause the large blocks of solid tread...

on my orange toyota i dd'ed a set of 44 tsl's last year...actually wasn't all that bad, had them pad balenced very well at galloways, and rotated them every 2,5oo mi... also kept air pressure in check ~8lbs in front & ~5lbs in rear (i did the calk line, to make sure all the tread was touching)... also kept check on my toe in... it was kept at ~1/8"

oh oh... almost forgot... your runner is sick nasty... it was in Andy's shop "crs" like 4 years ago, i think right after the sas, and thas what pretty much made me and josh decide to go ahead and do sas's on our toy's... i think you had 36 tsl's in some stock toy steelie... but love the runner:beer::beer:

:shaking:toooo bad when don't get snow in these parts, only icey roads!!:shaking:

well damn thanks man. ill keep that in mind. i wanna see a set of 38 ats from bfg.

preciate the compliment.

I've got a buddy from Alaska, and where he lives, the TSL SSR's are the ticket. enough siping for the slush/ice, and big enough lugs to grab mud and deep snow

I will say this, in fresh loose powder snow, boggers actually are kinda fun and good. But Im talking Colorado snow not Carolina snow.

Of course they absolutely suck on the road getting to a play spot in either place.

if you want interco..at least get the thornbirds..those tsl's arent very good for snow

Damn the turd birds ^^^^^
