NOT what you're thinking, it wasn't me!
Young couple maybe 27. She was a well dressed Hispanic girl, somewhat professional but also Mexican festive type dress, kinda pretty. He was young black male, kind of a Bubba Wallace look, not a slob but he coulda tried a little harder. I'm one seat away from them and couldn't help but to hear. She asks, "Where do you live"? He doesn't say where but says "with my brother and his girlfriend and my other brother and..." he kept naming people. And without missing a beat she says "Where do we pay?"
I did not feel bad for him, he could have done better!

Plot twist.
She heard brother and friends and wanted to make a meme a reality...

She’s Hispanic. She’s probably got a few generations living under one roof. I’ve dated Hispanic girls. Not uncommon to see a house full.

Shit with today's housing costs vs salaries it becoming way more common for people live like that. Young people living alone or w/ just 1 roommate is becoming a thing of the past/

My sister-in-law and her two kids escaped out of Jordan last year (would make a helluva movie) and after living with her parents, they now rent one bedroom of a 4-bedroom apartment. I looked for a place for them and now I see on marketplace all the time bedrooms for rent.

A former roommate of mine, moved to LA, Cali, a few years ago. He's doing the same thing now, as I see him advertise a bedroom, ect, for $650 a month. It's a 4 bedroom set-up, with $650 per room.

That cheap in Cali.

Hell my daughter is a Sophomore at Clemson and the cheapest apartment around is $950/month per room.
I said the hell with that and just bought a 4 bedroom condo for $225k.
I'm renting 3 rooms to her friends for $750 per - they get a deal, my daughter stays free and they are buying me a lake house....haha
