internet supplier in wnc

who do you use for your internet and what speeds are you getting?
i am located right outside of asheville and have at&t. my speeds suck bad averaging .69 download and .14 upload.
i have the .768 and they have one more tier available to me at 1.5 for $36 a month. would it make that much of a difference on the speed or should i look for something else.

Charter is my only choice. I hate dealing with cable companies but they have a monopoly on high speed Internet.

yea charter would be a no go. i tried to get them to run cable before i concreted my drive way. they wouldnt do it then...so now them and me are outta luck.

Too bad. My Charter just tested at 16.63 dl and 3.19 ul.
