Intoductions section?

It looks like a lot of new guys are introducing themselves in the general chit chat section of the forum and getting lost in the general clutter. How about a section for people to introduce themselves to the nc4x4 community?
 
I say introduce yourself in some conversation threads or events rather than a section of a bunch of "Hey, I'm here". That's just me. We'll get to know you once you take place in general conversations and tech posts. A sections of introductions is going to look like this.

Hey

What'sup

That doesn't tell me much. But that's just me. No offense.
