yeah...we install gears...this is our master installer (red-ed)...you may remember him as 'quick-hands' from prior controversial posts...

he had the stock shims in it, just no more incase the pattern or backlash needed to be changed, but it meshed pretty darn good.
 
I'm sorry, but I just have to ask... exactly what were they using to INFLATE those gloves? :confused:
 
Well seeing as how this thread has been hijacked, lets return back to the topic at hand. What engine/tranny/tcase/axles/susp. setup u gonna run??

since he has not repsonded yet, i will say, correct if wrong will, but 22re powerglide or toy turbo tranny, daul cases 4.7 and stock, toy axles, airshocks, chromos, and why did all those post earlier get deleted? oh well
 
adapter from the 22re to powerglide, is he making it, buying it or what? i have been pondering the auto swap...

Here it is again: moon buggy style, 4 angry squirrels, powerglide, atlas, two toyota steering axles(for now), links, air shocks of some flavor, 37's prolly

wcialrter, you just seem to invite the smack talk, which is fine but not in the Truck Gallery. You can keep hit here and talk more about the rig, or move to chit chat. Then again, some things are better left unsaid. ;)

about the rig...this particular chassis(ha...chassis...can you call it that?..i feel not) is being made of HREW...if it seems to work I might build another one out of DOM or maybe some chromo if I can learn how to TIG...I mean...the whole thing would take a day to make again if you just copied it...

adapter from 22RE to powerglide: i was in the process of making one but ended up not using thick enough plate. That one was scratched and roughly built just to hold the engine and transmission together but is not functionable. Depending on how things are when I'm ready for it i may make it if I have more time than money or I might get it from C&R Motorsports. They have some left as of two months ago. Who knows...
