invalid reply error message

Recently I'm constantly getting a "invalid reply" error message when quick replying in threads. It says to please enter a valid message...

I've entered a valid response and clicked on the "reply" button. But, maybe 9 times out of 10 I get the error message. I close the message and hit "reply" again (without doing anything else) and the reply posts up like normal...

I even got the error message when trying to post this message.

Thoughts?
 
How long has that been going on? Does it happen on different computers? What browser do you use?
 
I'm on IE.

It was going on for a couple weeks prior to me posting the message.

I'm using the same computer and browser as I always have for the last 2.5 years.

Every so often I'll use another computer but its rare as I only typically get online during the day. My laptop at home has been off for months and haven't used it in a long time, so I can't really answer if it happens on other computers.
