We didn't think so :flipoff2: ....got the drive train mounted, scrapped the 300hp LT1 for a 400+hp LS1...the all aluminum set up is sorta sweet...

I got a deal on this one it only had 27k on it...I bought it complete (all accessories/harness/computer) they usually run $3500 to $5000 complete.

Looks niceand purdy, what have you done to the LS1 to pull "400+" outta it? Factory LS1's outta the camaro's or firebird's were 340-345, and the ZO6 vettes were 405. Just curious what else you've done to it? We do a ton of LS1 and LT1 and ZL1 and ZZ swaps at work in all types of rods. For some real bling goodies the it you should check out street and perfoamance. -steve

Howe engineering, Turn key engine supply both told me using a 99up computer and their editing software for the computer to eliminate emissions/ etc. that dyno results were right at 405hp. Jims performance is editing my computer and reworking my harness, he too said to expect in the 400hp neighborhood but didn't have the dyno to back it up. I guess we'll see.

Sweet, what axles are you going to use?

I would definetly need a KN airfilter to get that kind of horsepower out of the yota.

Looks great, i would go with the lexan firewall, it will be sweet to see a rod coming shooting out of that thing when you are on it .:flipoff2:

not a reason. what gears are you gonna run? bling factor? just curious, not talkin shit.
TH350/Atlas 3.8/ 5.13's/39 Krawlers / HP60/true hi9 rear. I'd bet my powertrain combo weighs close to what a yota with dual cases weighs. The HP to LBs. ratio should be pretty crazy. This is it for me shelling out $$$$ to build a rig, it's getting the best of everything I can afford on the first go around. I don't want to get it done and then be saying "ya know I wish I would've done this, etc..." As for the motor, nothing sounds like a V8 howling up the rocks at 6 or 7 grand.
