We didn't think so ....got the drive train mounted, scrapped the 300hp LT1 for a 400+hp LS1...the all aluminum set up is sorta sweet...
I got a deal on this one it only had 27k on it...I bought it complete (all accessories/harness/computer) they usually run $3500 to $5000 complete.Metto said:greg how much was that ls1? someone at the shop is lookin to swap one into his e36 m3
Howe engineering, Turn key engine supply both told me using a 99up computer and their editing software for the computer to eliminate emissions/ etc. that dyno results were right at 405hp. Jims performance is editing my computer and reworking my harness, he too said to expect in the 400hp neighborhood but didn't have the dyno to back it up. I guess we'll see.2KFLEXJ said:Looks niceand purdy, what have you done to the LS1 to pull "400+" outta it?
HP60/dedenbears 35 spline outers/alloy shafts / 35 spline 9" rear, trying to gather up the cash to buy the true hi9 3rd.spraypaintman said:Sweet, what axles are you going to use?
not a reason. what gears are you gonna run? bling factor? just curious, not talkin shit.1-tonmudder said:just cause
TH350/Atlas 3.8/ 5.13's/39 Krawlers / HP60/true hi9 rear. I'd bet my powertrain combo weighs close to what a yota with dual cases weighs. The HP to LBs. ratio should be pretty crazy. This is it for me shelling out $$$$ to build a rig, it's getting the best of everything I can afford on the first go around. I don't want to get it done and then be saying "ya know I wish I would've done this, etc..." As for the motor, nothing sounds like a V8 howling up the rocks at 6 or 7 grand.stone said:not a reason. what gears are you gonna run? bling factor? just curious, not talkin shit.
