I've trimmed/cut and folded my fenders, cut holes in the rear floor to break weld-nuts loose and am about to cut and fold the lower quarters. There is rot on the drivers side inner fenderwell and a rather odd situation on the inside of the passenger side. The angle grinder and cut off wheels are calling my name!

I've heard others say that is definitely is, but I prefer to keep most of my sheetmetal. Only my front fenders are cut.

I am itching to do some cutting whenever I get the money for some tube fenders

i let the metal bugs eat mine, and the trail obstacles too.

trimming is contagious, so is tube bending

If you have a case of "sheet metal trimitis", don't buy a tube bender.
Below will show how I got "benditis" pretty bad for a while. Only by loaning out my bender was I able to control the problem.

It's not that I want to, it's just that it's usually the easiest way to do something. And, well...I'm lazy. Having a plasma, torch, sawzall, body saw, and six angle grinders makes it all the easier. I don't understand why some people are so afraid to cut up a body either. It's not like an xj/tj/cj/yj/etc. was such a beautiful stock vehicle anyway.

Obviously you've never seen a YJ Renegade.

I always like it when people are sayin it may be worth something, hell nothing is worth anything if you can build a new one out of a catalog. I think if it is well though out and done properly that cutting one up makes it look sooo much better.
