Is it just me?

Around here it seems location dependent. The one in Clayton is pretty good, tea is hit or miss though . Knightdale is ok, Smithfield is always good. The damn price has gone sky high though so we don't eat there as much as we used to.

The one in Siler City is pretty good, usually eat there once every couple weeks. The one in Sanford is crap, I've eaten there twice and it was bad both times.

Siler city is always on point usually hit it on the way back from BR…. Most seem to be kept pretty clean and quick hella lot better than a McDonald’s

Seems to me the portions have got smaller while the prices have gone up :(.

We eat at the one in Sanford about once or twice a month. One of the few chicken places I can safely eat. (ex: Popeyes and Bojangles both use beef tallow to fry the chicken)

I always get the same thing...the white plate (1 breast, 1 wing). In the past year I've noticed that the wings are cut differently -- used to have a big ol chunk of armpit meat....now its just mostly the two sections of the wing itself. The breast meat is almost half of what it used to be. Every once in a a while will get a nice one....but mostly they are a little skinny.

Cooking quality has seemed fine to me, just the quality of the chicken itself.

I do wish they'd have a decent bbq sauce to dip in. Not the mostly vinegar red sauce they call bbq sauce.

I usually get the sandwich fries and tea combo, so the portions seem the same, but it's gone up over two dollars in the last year-ish. Which everything has, thanks covid/inflation/karen/whatever!
