I aquired an LS1 about 10 months ago and remember it turning over by a ratchet on the crank bolt pretty freely when I got it.
It's been sitting ever since...I went to bolt up the flex plate to the torque convertor and started turning it with a pry bar on the teeth to get to the bolts in.
Got one in and figured it'd be easier to turn it with the crank bolt on front.
It wouldn't budge.
I figure it might just be where it's awkward up on the work bench but then I get a buddy to hold it and try again...won't budge...even without the plugs. Tried a little oil in the cylinders as well...
So seeing as I've turned this thing at least 180degrees by the flexplate...did I mess it up?
