Wasn't there a Craiglist ad about that awhile ago?

Personally I don't see what the big deal is, besides the small street tires.

up in PA there is a fast offroad race, almost rally-style, at Line Mountain... lots of vehicles like that.

We don't care how you do it up North, Yankee! :flipoff2:

It's an old Tracker, and it keeps popping up every time somebody sees it somewhere. No, it may not be what you'd build, but he airs it out regularly, and it's still wheeling hard. It may be ugly, but damn if it don't work! And isn't the point of this whole hobby to have fun? I've seen it up close. It's solid and as safe as your average stock Jeep, probably.

7 mile run through the woods... a bit lighter than the ECORS Class A but prob 2x the speed? Oh and like a hundred racers.
About 1/3 finish. Several of them showed up for the last RC race.

I'm planning to compete in the Runner if i can met tech... hm could need a co-pilot... :driver:

omg i must witness this or participate in this

I wheeled with him. Hilarious watching that thing come up the second ledge on Daniel.

Did a hell of a lot better than I ever would have thought. I think it weighs about 1400 pounds.

It looks like it would weigh a ton with all of that tubing. But I will say square stock is 1000 x's easier to fab than round.

yep on the weight... but that also depends what kind of wall thickness it is... and def agree on the fab wase too... that's why I like it better
