He started when he didnt buy a Jeep.

It was all downhill from there.

I vote bad. He turned the steering wheel the wrong way, unless he was intentionally trying to dump it...then he did good.

braking while in a downhill skid
improper navigation of a rut
His spotter was infont of him while he was traveling in reverse. a proper spotter would have been behind him keeping him out of the rut.
while the trail didnt look too menacing, he could have used a winch line just in case.
Reversing down a hill wasnt the best idea.
