Come on guys. Bumping your threads EVERY FREAKIN' DAY. Give it a rest!!!

no specific rule...just no excessive bumping. If you see something you don't like, PM a moderator or create a thread in the Garage. Oh, wait...

bumping daily is the best way to sell something. For some reason most people don't search.

There's a lot of people that also don't know how to write an effective ad. The subject line should be specific, but detailed enough to know what the object is. It should also include the price. If you are selling a car, don't just write "Car for sale". Tell us what model and year and a price. The details of the vehicle can be (and need to be) in the body of the ad.

Take a picture. A picture is worth a thousand words, remember? More like a picture is worth a thousand Bumps. Especially for something that's custom or hard to explain.

Also, try to think ahead of some of the questions a potential buyer would have about what you are selling. Vehicle doesn't have a title? Salvage title, etc? Put it in the ad. That way, people will know if it's worth them looking further and don't have to ask. Some people don't care about a salvage title if the price is right, but others do.

Well said. Except everyone knows it is For Sell, not For Sale.

Isn't there a rule about complaining if your a non-supporting member?
Didn't see that one but I did see the excessive bumping rule. Right there at the top of the forum...
Just kidding! Agreed, I should be a supporting member anyway. I just found the site last month and I wanted to check it all out first. Just to be clear though, I was NOT complaining about the site.

I don't consider one or even two (morning and evening) bumps a day excessive. 3+ a day? Excessive. My $.02

Anytime I am selling something I do either a morning or evening bump, try to do one every 24 hours because as has been said, people are lazy and don't search, I had a set of tires on here, posted them in the early morning, 15 minutes later they were completely off the first page, another time I posted a set of tires and they had been spoken for in under 10 minutes and picked up the following morning with no problems. Just depends on the person, some people will actually look for what they want, others will just wait for it to smack them in the face.

Wow complaining already and only been here a month, this may be a long ride for you around here  Welcome! :D
