I'm looking for a bunch of 1" ss wood screws, course thread. Anyone know where to buy in bulk cheap?

Lowes?

No good bulk packaging. I need 5 lbs or better to pit the molding back on my camper. I could use regular steel or coated screws, but I'm afraid of streaks from rust in a couple years.

If you need that much Id search out Fastenal

Fasten all would have it, but as said, not cheap.

I buy a lot from the bolt depot.com

Prices are great. I try to buy a lot at once as shipping isn't free.

McMaster maybe?

Talk about never being cheap for hardware. Its great if you need it tomorrow, but if 4 days from now is ok, then it is cheaper somewhere else.

There are a few supply houses local to me that I would at least call before I go to the internet. In my case Fastenal, Southern Fasteners, and Automotive Fasteners. Check for whats local for you.

Fastenal prices suck! Unless an extreme emergency, I stay away from them if all possible. Although I have used them a couple times the past year but my butt was sore for days...

Ebay or Amazon often seem to have great prices on bulk fasteners. It's likely the same Chinese stuff Bolt Depot gets, without shipping. Be careful, though. For what you're doing, it'll probably work fine, but my experience is that the cheaper Chinese fasteners tend to have sharper edges and break more easily.

My bolt guy comes in on Thursday. I can get them from him, cheap. How many do you want?

since you're in the big town of maiden, have you tried piedmont harware? they may not have them in stock but they've been happy to order stuff for me in the past.
