I missed the IDE part on the drive label.


If there's nothing wrong with the drive itself, a standard EIDE to USB interface adapter will likely work.  You can get one for sub-$20 on Amazon; it will be an interface box/board with a wall wart that plugs into it, and cables to plug the interface box/board into the EIDE drive ribbon cable connector and power connector.
